Individual Therapy
"Therapy helps people heal interpersonal wounds and build trust and love with other people and, more importantly, with themselves." — Dr. Jacob Ham
I tend to be a good fit for those who:
Are successful on the outside, but find themselves repeating unhelpful patterns
or generally getting “stuck”Feel lonely or lack a sense of belonging
Crave a space to discuss hidden emotions, fears, and fantasies
Have a hard time relaxing, trusting, or being fully themselves with others
Feel disconnected from their emotions
Struggle with areas of concern that might be difficult to talk about, such as sex and intimacy, desire, aggression, jealousy, anger, suicidality, money, or dreams
Have tried therapy before and are interested in deeper work
Individuals I work with often arrive with long-held patterns they wish to break, which may include:
people-pleasing
anxiety
anxious or avoidant attachment
loneliness
emotional numbing or out-of-control feelings
dissociation
compulsive behavior (eating, spending, lying, etc.)
insomnia or nightmares
stagnation or "stuckness"
creative blocks
...or they may just be seeking deeper self-understanding in order to live a bolder, fuller, more satisfying life.
